TRAINING AND CONFERENCE CENTRE The Whyalla Economic Development Board (WEDB) situated in the Education Hub of Whyalla on Nicolson Avenue, Whyalla Norrie, offers the following Training and Conference Facilities for hire. Facilities are available for hire between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday, but our friendly Staff are happy to accommodate your requirements should they be outside the above hours. A small surcharge may apply depending on the hours requested. All facilities come inclusive of Tea, Coffee and Water. A range of equipment, included in the hire cost, is available for your use. Please book your requirements with our Staff at the time making facility reservations. BOARD ROOM Our Board Room comfortably seat 18-20 people, in a typical board room style. Located at the front of the building with large windows, which provide an excellent view of the educational hub of Whyalla, is ideal for general meetings and information sessions. TRAINING ROOM Two (2) Training Rooms are available for hire from WEDB, one of which is located within the Whyalla Business Centre and the other located at the front of the WEDB complex and easily holds 20 people at one (1) sitting. Both rooms are easily set up in a variety of styles, which include: v Theatre; v Classroom; v Horseshore; v Board Room style. These rooms have the ability to open into one large room and have the capacity to hold 50 people comfortably theatre style. CATERING WEDB does not provide in-house catering, but this can be arranged on your behalf by our Reception Staff. There are several options available for you to choose from. Pricing is available on application. TELECONFERENCE FACILITIES Telstra Teleconference facilities are available on request and at an additional charge. Please contact our friendly Staff for details. |
